Custom Cheap Eco Friendly Sunglasses Made From Sustainable Wheat Straw

SP677076J is a wheat straw composite frame aimed at children's sunwear and promotional ranges, supplied factory-direct for private label and wholesale programmes.
Overview
The front is moulded from renewable wheat straw fibre and an eco-safe polymer, with a matte surface that hides scratches. The frame leaves our line complete, with temples, hinges and nose support already fitted, so it goes to lens assembly rather than to a fitting bench. Buyers in this segment usually take it as a core shape and build the colour card around it.
The front is moulded from wheat straw fibre blended with a polymer binder, which gives a speckled, matte surface. Colour, logo, temple marking and packaging are set per purchase order, and the minimum order is 1200 pcs/model. Because every shipment is drawn from the same mould and the same colour masterbatch, a repeat order matches the first one instead of arriving a shade off. The custom cheap eco friendly line runs on the same platform as the rest of our sunglasses made output, so an eco friendly sunglasses order and a repeat run stay identical in colour, geometry and lens seat. The made from sustainable option and the sustainable wheat straw option sit on that same tool set, with one inspection sheet and one MOQ structure behind both.
Key Features
Frame Construction
Wheat straw is an agricultural by-product. Blended with a polymer binder it moulds like a normal plastic but keeps a visible natural filler, so the frame reads as a material story rather than a claim, which is what retail buyers need at the shelf. The SP677076J front is checked against the drawing before the temples go on.
Fit and Wearing Comfort
The composite is light and rigid enough for a small frame, and the matte surface hides the fine scratches that a gloss frame collects in a pocket or a school bag. At approximately 20–25 g the frame sits in the lightweight bracket for this category.
Optical Performance
The lens is supplied as UV400 and polarized, and the tint, mirror or gradient finish is set per order so the same front can serve several price points.
Tooling and Customization
The model is an OEM/ODM item from our own tooling. Logo can be applied to the temple or the lens, colour is matched to a pantone or a physical sample, and packaging is built to your retail format. Minimum order is 1200 pcs/model.
Product Showcase
Photographed on a neutral background so the geometry reads clearly: the front profile, the temple and hinge, the bridge and the material close-up all come from the same production sample.

OEM & ODM Customization
Custom work starts from the drawing, not from a colour chart. We confirm the lens curve, the temple length and the logo position first, then build a sample so your team can check the fit on a face rather than on a screen. Once the sample is signed off it becomes the golden piece: colour, geometry and finish are measured against it for every repeat order, which is what keeps a second shipment usable next to the first on the same shelf.
- Frame colour matched to a pantone reference or a physical sample before production.
- Temple logo by print, laser or moulded relief, with artwork approval at sampling.
- Lens supply, fitting and edging arranged in house for prescription programmes.
- Private label packaging: box, pouch, cleaning cloth and barcode label.
- Size grading across age or fit bands from one tool set where the mould allows.
- Repeat orders held against the approved golden sample for colour and geometry.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Four checkpoints sit between raw material and the carton. Each one has a written limit and a named owner, so a fault is caught at the stage that caused it rather than at the customer’s bench.
1. Incoming Material Inspection
Resin, sheet, wire and hardware are checked against the approved specification on arrival. Colour masterbatch is compared with the golden chip under daylight, sheet thickness is measured, and hinge lots are sampled for torque before anything is released to the line.
2. Moulding and Assembly
The front is moulded or cut to the drawing, then the core wire, hinges and nose support are fitted. First-off samples from every colour run are measured against the drawing, because a colour change alters shrinkage and can move the lens seat.
3. Surface Finishing and Optical Check
Tumbling, polishing and plating are staged so the finish is judged on a finished frame, not a coupon. Lenses are checked for power, coating and edge quality, and every frame is trial mounted on a lens blank to confirm the groove depth.
4. Packing and Pre-Shipment Audit
Frames are cleaned, sleeved and packed to the approved carton layout. The AQL audit pulls pieces from production, not from a prepared box, and checks hinge tension, alignment, logo position and barcode data before the carton is sealed.

FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity for SP677076J?
The MOQ is 1200 pcs/model, and it applies to one colour and one size combination. Mixed colours inside that quantity are possible once the colour card is approved. If you are testing a market, ask about a smaller trial run at quotation stage; we quote it separately rather than promising a number we cannot hold.
How long does sampling take, and what do I need to send?
Sampling is quoted at 7 days from approved artwork and colour reference. Send a pantone code or a physical sample for the colour, vector artwork for the logo, and the lens specification if you want the frame fitted. A stock sample can be sent ahead of the custom sample so your team can judge the fit first.
Can the logo and packaging be customized?
Yes. Logo can be printed, laser marked or moulded into the temple, and packaging can be built to your retail format with your own box, pouch and barcode data. Artwork is approved on a physical sample before production, and the approved piece is kept as the golden sample for the repeat order. Certification documents travel with the shipment.
Start Your Custom Order
Send the model number, the colour reference and the quantity you are planning, and we will come back with a quotation, a sampling schedule and the certification documents for your market. If you are still choosing a shape, ask for the stock sample first.
