PC Sport Sunglasses with Rubber Temple Tip

A PC sport sunglass with a rubber temple tip and a wrapped eye shape, specified for buyers who care about grip during movement more than about shelf styling.
Overview
Sport sunglasses are judged on grip, not on style: a frame that slides down during a run is useless regardless of how it looks. This front is moulded in PC with a wrapped eye shape and a rubber temple tip, so the frame stays seated when the wearer sweats and moves. The rubber tip is moulded onto the temple rather than slipped over it, so it does not rotate or come off when the frame is pulled on with wet hands.
The rubber tip does two jobs. It raises friction behind the ear, and it softens the contact point that otherwise becomes painful after an hour of wear. Ventilation is managed through the rim profile rather than drilled holes, which keeps the lens clear without weakening the front. Ventilation is handled by the rim profile rather than by holes, which keeps the lens from fogging without introducing openings that weaken the front.
Key Features
PC Wrapped Front
PC gives the front impact resistance and allows a wrap angle that follows the face rather than sitting flat against it. A wrapped shape cuts side glare and keeps wind out of the eye, which is the reason sport frames are shaped this way rather than for appearance.
Rubber Grip Tip
A rubber temple tip increases friction behind the ear and spreads pressure over a softer surface. It is moulded onto the temple rather than slipped on, so it does not rotate or slide off when the frame is pulled on with wet hands.
Ventilation and Fog Control
Airflow is managed through the rim profile and the gap between lens and frame, so moist air escapes without drilling visible holes. That keeps the lens clear during hard effort and avoids the weak points that holes create in the front.
Lens Options and Branding
Lenses can be specified in 5 colours, matched to a swatch of tint and mirror finish, with the specification recorded per model. Logo is applied to the temple or the lens corner, and the rubber tip can be colour matched to the frame for a finished look.
Product Showcase
Views show the SP942005 sample and, where noted, a sister model from the same range, so the hinge position and temple profile can be compared before a sample is ordered.

OEM & ODM Customization
PC sport sunglasses are specified by grip: the rubber temple tip raises friction behind the ear and spreads pressure over a softer surface. The sport sunglasses front is moulded with a wrap angle that cuts side glare, the sunglasses with rubber temple are flexed at the hinge before packing, and the sunglasses are quoted with tint and mirror options.
Sports eyewear is specified, not styled: a buyer usually arrives with a lens requirement and a use case, and the frame is chosen to support both. We quote lens specification, rubber hardness and temple geometry as separate lines, because those three determine whether the frame performs on a bike or in a gym.
- Lens: tint, mirror and polarized options are quoted by specification, with UV performance confirmed for the destination market.
- Rubber hardness: tip hardness is selected for grip against sweat, with softer compounds for long-duration wear.
- Temple geometry: straight and curved temples are available, and the curve is set to the target head size.
- Colour: frame and rubber can be matched or contrasted, with 5 colours, matched to a swatch in the standard line.
- Logo: pad print and laser marking on the temple, with an option for lens corner branding.
- Packaging: a sport case with a cleaning cloth can be packed per unit, and a mesh pouch is available for team orders.
Buyers who want the wider picture can review the OEM and ODM optical frames programme, which explains how tooling, sampling and documentation are handled across models.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Production is organised around four checkpoints, and a frame cannot move to the next stage until the previous one is signed off. The process below is the same for a sample order and for a repeat run.
1. Lens and Rubber Incoming Check
Lenses are checked for tint density, mirror coating adhesion and distortion, and rubber components are checked for hardness and surface defects. Coating that lifts at the edge is rejected before assembly.
2. Moulding and Temple Assembly
Fronts are moulded and trimmed, then fitted with temples and rubber tips. Each frame is flexed at the hinge and the tip is pulled to confirm it stays bonded.
3. Fit and Optical Check
Frames are checked for symmetry and level, and lenses are verified against a grid for distortion. The wrap angle is measured against the drawing so the frame performs as sampled.
4. Packing and Carton Sample
Pairs are wiped, sleeved and packed with the case specified. Cartons are sampled for lens clarity, rubber bond and branding position before sealing.
Inspection records are kept against the model number, so a question raised months after shipment can be traced back to the batch, the operator and the material lot. The full procedure is described under quality control.

FAQ
What is the MOQ for a team order?
MOQ is 2 pieces, which allows a club or event order to be placed without a large commitment. Custom logo and lens options are quoted at that quantity, with per-colour minimums confirmed at quotation stage.
Can the rubber tip be replaced?
The tip is bonded to the temple rather than replaceable, which is deliberate: a bonded tip does not rotate or pull off in use. Replacement is therefore by temple, and spare temples can be quoted for team programmes.
Are prescription versions possible?
The frame is designed for plano sport lenses. A prescription version requires a different lens path and is quoted separately, with the lens thickness limit confirmed before the order.
